Model Highlights

Chevrolet's 2008 Malibu Classic is overshadowed by the redesigned 2008 Malibu, but it still represents a viable choice in the mid-size sedan class. The only trim available is the LT sedan, which is powered by a 219-horsepower 3.5L V6 engine. Shifting duty is ably handled by a four-speed automatic transmission. The LT is very well equipped, with cruise control, audio controls mounted on the steering wheel, remote keyless entry, air conditioning, a CD player, and power doors, locks, and mirrors. Safety items include traction control, anti-lock brakes, and front, side, and side curtain air bags. An optional Luxury and Convenience Package includes an auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, illuminated vanity mirrors, rear reading lights, front fog lamps, and 16-inch chrome wheels.
