Love Promise Stories from Armstrong Subaru

Subaru and Armstrong Subaru believe in making a positive impact on the communities in which we live and work. We uphold that belief through our Love Promise Community Commitment. Every month, we select inspiring stories from customers and partners from around our area who strive to support our collective commitment and feature them here.

Juliette's House - Jack R.

We're proud to share that Armstrong Subaru has donated $6,360 to Juliette's House in McMinnville. Juliette's House does incredible work providing forensic interviews, medical exams, therapy, and support—ensuring a sensitive, evidence-based response to child abuse investigations. Their commitment to children and families is recognized by their accreditation from the National Children's Alliance (NCA) for quality. We're honored to support their mission and the difference they make in our community.

Subaru Armstrong Partners with A Family Place - Sarah S.

Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For many children and families experiencing crisis in Yamhill County, this is a daily reality. Armstrong Subaru partnered with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit dedicated to connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. On January 15, 2026, Armstrong Subaru generously donated 204 winter coats to A Family Place, a program of Lutheran Community Services Northwest, in McMinnville, Oregon. These coats do more than provide warmth and protection from the elements—they offer comfort, dignity, and a sense of being cared for. Having a warm coat can make a meaningful difference in a child's confidence, emotional well-being, and ability to show up at school and in the world feeling safe. At A Family Place, we are deeply grateful for this generous gift and for Armstrong Subaru's commitment to supporting children and families in our community. This donation will help ensure that families facing difficult circumstances can stay warm and feel supported during the winter months.

Armstrong Subaru Delivers Hope - Tovi E.

On June 17th, Armstrong Subaru partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Willamette Valley Medical Center through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. This partnership involved delivering blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients. This year, Armstrong Subaru will also support the LLS Urgent Need Program, Pediatric, which will provide 5 pediatric blood cancer patient households with financial relief to help offset non-medical costs associated with treatment, such as transportation, food, housing, utilities, etc. It was an amazing delivery day filled with kindness and connection. Through Armstrong Subaru participation in these programs, it shows they care. Armstrong Subaru consistently shows up and shows out for their community, and that impact was felt on the delivery day. We are so grateful to work and live in a community that takes care of one another. Thank you, Armstrong Subaru and thank you Willamette Valley Medical Center for being firm in your mission to help others.

The minute the Subaru Crosstrek hit the market, I was in love. I said "I'm going to own one of those one day!" Finally, this year I got my dream car! Having a daughter in competitive soccer takes us over the river and through the woods often enough that we desperately needed a safe and a efficient AWD option. And it had to be Fun to drive! Enter Roz. My very first Crosstrek. Now my wife wants one too. Armstrong Subaru in McMinnville went above and beyond to get me exactly what I wanted, for the price I wanted and I left feeling like a pro at my brand new car. Keeping making cars people in fall in love with Subaru!
